Fake watch?
I bought a Frederique Constant Healey Vintage Rally Chronograph back in August 2016. I wore the watch once and put it on a watch winder.
I just recently pulled the watch off the watch winder and noticed that the watch does not work anymore. I have a couple of more automatic watches and have wore them more often and they run perfectly. I wonder if Touch of Modern has framed me with this Frederique Constant watch as this is not normal for an automatic watch to stop working all of the sudden. I cannot think of anything else than a fake watch.
Any advice on how to proceed against this company?

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
I ordered two items one on 12/5 and the other on 12/12. The item ordered on the 5th was due on the 26th of December.
After not having any update for 10 days I sent an email to find out where my package was. They updated the information saying I would get the package on 1/02/2017. I later got an update saying that same package would arrive around the 10th of January. I then contacted Touch of Modern to see if I could get my item on the original date promised.
They then informed me that the package wouldn't arrive prior to January 20,2017 !!! I then told TOM that I wanted to cancel my orders. No response. I sent two emails and left two phone messages.
No response!!! I called my bank and cancelled the payments to TOM. Days later I was contacted by TOM and they cancelled the second order but the first order which was scheduled to arrive 3 to 5 business days after 1/20/2017 could not be cancelled!!!
You can't cancel an order that I won't get for a month???? Touch of Modern may have some wonderful items BUT it is not worth dealing with their HORRIBLE service!!!
Preferred solution: Do not ship any of order!!'

When I contacted them about the "3-4 weeks" shipping, this was the response:
"Unfortunately, we do not have certain merchandise in stock at our warehouse. Once the sale has ended we then place an order with the designer.
Sometimes these items are made when we place our order and sometimes they are ready to be shipped out. Then once the items are on their way to us we then ship to you.
This can be a lengthy process which is why generally we ask that you allow us 3 to 4 weeks for any incidentals that may occur."
So they're selling stuff they don't have (and may never get). Sounds like fraud.
And I don't necessarily want to be contacted by them, but this website doesn't give you the "don't care" option.

Purchased Omega Speedmaster Watch
The watch arrived fine, ran alright, the bracelet needed some tweaking. A few months later, one of the button pushers broke.
brought to Omega factory for service, lots of issues. Watch authentic, but no word or guarantee on condition other than photos. If you examine the photos carefully, you can see corrosion on buttons, damages to faces and bezels, etc. Buyer beware.
My Speedmasterr will be ok, at additional $1000 cost with Omega, and still needs a new bracelet (price? $1750).
Should have purchased at retainer who restores prior to sale and saved myself the trouble. Used Swiss timepieces should not be purchased in the blind.
Buyers Baware
This company sent non-functional product and doesn't refund..don't return calls on there listed toll free number , left multiple massages. Decided to email after waited for so long and then received email reply few weeks after , indicating they are not a call center and they don't refund.
They intentional sent non-functional products wasted times to respond or no respond on telephone , then no refund is provided.
Products are made in China with low quality components , just made for cosmetic looks and lies on adds indicating false features. Company look like a garage internet business in the US and ship fake products from China with no refund only maybe exchange for others faulty products.

The reason behind all these complaints
2nd quality products at sky high prices
Purchased a spring-assist pocket knife as I have difficulty using my left arm and hand. Yes, the knife had a button, but pressing it did nothing.
There was no spring and no assist. It was just a plain pocket knife, except 400% more expensive than a similar non-spring assist knife. Then you see the purchase is "Final Sale - No returns", which is apparently code for " you are buying a piece of ***'". If you look at their site, they talk about how their product are guaranteed authentic.
They may be authentic, but they are not 1st quality.
The are selling the factory rejects and representing their value as if they were 1st quality. Buyer Beware!!!

Shipping is Awful
Paying almost $20 for small products that can take up to a month to be delivered is unreasonable. Wish I noticed the shipping times before I purchased anything from here.
Next time I will keep checking up on Touch of Modern's products and purchase from Amazon or other retailers with a better shipping system. I have purchased from them before and found products shipping a little faster but I think generally everything takes a pretty long time for some reason. I don't have a 100 words worth of criticism so I will just keep trying until your counter thingy reads 100 words.
today I ate a chicken salad for lunch and it was good. Ok this was 100 but you re still not letting me submit.

Not bad, but could be better!
I've purchased several items from TOM. A bracelet which I wear all the time made from onyx/fossil and stainless clasp...it is a beautiful piece, no problems.
I bought a ring, a pen box (which I use for my Straight Razors) and a knife as well. Knife is made in China, but it was only 15.00 and looks great, and works great. Box is made in China as well, but looks pretty awesome. The ring had a small blemish in the side but still looks great.
Just be forewarned, most of these items are made overseas and are cheap. If you NEED to talk to someone at Touch of Modern..call the number and leave a message on the VENDOR option.
I also emailed them and they got back to me within a couple days. Considering I only spent under $100 for all these items, it's still a deal, But you can also search online for the same products and probably find it cheaper.
